Parade

The light installations in St. Moritz will be activated and inaugurated on August 21, 2026, with a parade. For this event, over 100 participants from a wide variety of local organizations will come together in a procession through the streets of St. Moritz, each contributing their own repertoire. The movement created in this moment of shared experience will be led in person by Marinella Senatore. Everyone is invited to join in and, through this shared experience, to relate themselves and the entire group to the installations in a way that goes beyond the moment of the traditional, detached viewing of a work of art.

Marinella Senatore’s parade is a participatory, collective event in which participants from local organizations and communities march together through public spaces. Music, performance, and movement come together to create a choreographed, communal experience that centers on social interaction, collaboration, and joy. In the process, the boundary between audience and participants dissolves, and the parade itself becomes a vibrant expression of collective energy and participation.
