Mareike Dittmer is an author, curator, editor, and practitioner working on transdisciplinary alliances and methodologies. Since 2025, she has served as Artistic Director of REFLECTION and ALP, a new public art program and summer laboratory of the Kulturstiftung St. Moritz, Switzerland. Since 2024, she has been Curator of TEMPORARS SUSCH, the writers’ residency program at Muzeum Susch. She is also Co-Chair of The Futurological Congress 2015–2030, together with Julieta Aranda. From 2019 to 2025, she taught in the BA Fine Arts program at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Since 2011, Mareike has been a member of the editorial team of the interview magazine Mono.Kultur. Her recent book projects include Muzeum Susch: Alpine Laboratory (2025) and Temporars Susch 2026 & The Exemplary Syllabus (2026).

Since graduating from the Berlin University of the Arts in 1998, Mareike has conceived and published numerous programs, developed extensive expertise in strategic approaches, and led collaborations for publications and organizations. Her previous roles include Director of Public Engagement at TBA21–Academy and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Contemporary (2020–2024), Director of Art Stations Foundation CH (2018–2020), and Chair of Disputaziuns Susch (2017–2019). Earlier in her career, she served as Associate Publisher of frieze magazine (until 2017) and Co-Publisher of frieze d/e magazine (2011–2015). Mareike is a board member of We are AIA Awareness in Art and the Engadin Art Association, which she has chaired since 2019. She lives and works in the Engadin region of Switzerland and in Berlin, Germany.
